Our journey began in 1968 when Victor Lawrence founded Lawrence Personnel, a firm specializing in employee placement. As the business expanded into staffing, it gave rise to Delta Temporary Services and helped position us as a leader in HR and a vital resource to the community. When Victor was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, the reins were passed to his son and daughter-in-law, David and Teresa, who united the operations under the banner of Delta Personnel.
While balancing their own HR demands, David and Teresa recognized the growth-inhibiting challenges faced by other small business owners. In response, they pioneered one of the earliest PEOs in Louisiana history, Delta Administrative Services (DAS), to alleviate some of their clients’ managerial burdens. This venture evolved into the human resource outsourcing company that exists today, offering nationwide services that allow businesses and non-profit organizations to raise the bar and reach their fullest potential.
Our efforts have fueled business expansion, both within and beyond the borders of Louisiana, contributing to substantial economic growth in our home state. We are pleased to play a role in creating growth opportunities, and we are committed to continuing our work and helping to create a brighter future.
